Arctic Plank was founded in 2010 by Icelandic hardwood flooring expert Högni Stefán Þorgeirsson. Using his creativity and more than 25 years of experience, Högni came up with a unique way of up cycling wooden pallets into high quality hardwood flooring.
Högni's main goal is to use every single piece of each pallet, thus achieving 100% recycle-ability of the reclaimed wood. That is why we at Arctic Plank are constantly experimenting with different ways to use this wonderful and versatile material, at the same time expanding our selection of products ranging from hardwood flooring to furniture, while being careful only to use discontinued shipping pallets which would otherwise be demolished.
